1. Overview

1.1    This website is operated by Leisure Cinemas Ltd trading as Leisure Cinemas. Throughout the website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Leisure Cinemas. Leisure Cinemas offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

1.2    By visiting our website and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“the Terms”) including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.

1.3    These Terms apply to all users of the website, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

1.4    Please read these Terms carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

1.5    If you do not agree to all the terms in these Terms then you may not access the website or use any of our services.


2. Admission

2.1    Leisure Cinemas will refuse admission to any person who, in the opinion of a Leisure Cinemas employee or representative, is under the minimum age required by the BBFC for a presentation and cannot prove that they are at least the minimum age required.

2.2    Leisure Cinemas reserves the right to request relevant photographic identification verifying the age of the customer (e.g. passport, ID card,  driving license) for entry into a 12, 12A, 15 and 18 certificated films. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by someone who is at least 18 years of age to be admitted after 7:00pm. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by someone who is at least 18 years of age at all times (regardless of film classification).

2.3    The final decision with regard to the production of identification and it's suitability to prove age rests with the Staff of the cinema, and the decision of Leisure Cinemas in this matter is final.

2.4    When we offer them:

    2.4.1  Student tickets will only be issued upon the production of a valid student card with photographic identification showing a clear photograph of the student and the applicable expiry date of the identification. Student tickets will be limited to one per student. Photographic identification may be checked before admission to the auditorium in the case of pre-booked tickets;

    2.4.2    Senior tickets will only be issued upon the production of a valid senior card. Senior tickets will be limited to one per senior. Proof of entitlement and identification may be checked before admission to the auditorium in the case of pre-booked tickets.

    2.4.3    Family Tickets are 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. “Children” refers to any child age 11 and under.

    2.4.4    Babies may be admitted into films. If the baby becomes distressed we ask that you respect other patrons enjoyment and leave the theatre, until the baby has settled. There is no charge for a baby (under 2) in your arms but a baby who takes a seat will be charged a child’s admission.

2.5    The decision of Leisure Cinemas as to the validity or otherwise of any student or senior card for the purposes of 2.4.2 or 2.4.3 shall be final.
 
2.6    Only food and beverage purchased within the cinema can be consumed.

2.7    Leisure Cinemas reserves the right to refuse admission to or to require to leave the premises (without providing a refund) to anyone:

    2.7.1    where there might be a risk to the safety of others;
  2.7.2    who appears to be intoxicated and/or is behaving in an antisocial manner; or
    2.7.3    who is smoking/vaping on the premises

2.8    In the interest of public safety and security, we may need to search a customer’s possessions whilst on the premises for any item which a staff member believes may contravene these terms and conditions. Leisure Cinemas reserves the right to refuse entry or require a customer, who doesn’t agree to be searched, to leave the premises without entitlement to a refund.

2.9    It is an offence to make a recording of a film whether for private use or otherwise. The unauthorized use of photographic and recording equipment in our cinemas is strictly prohibited.

2.10    Please look after your belongings as Leisure Cinemas accepts no responsibility for items left behind, lost or damaged however caused.



3. Tickets


3.1     Subject to these Terms, the purchase of a cinema ticket entitles the bearer to only  access the performance named at the stated time and date.

3.2    Tickets purchased online or in person are non-refundable and may not be exchanged unless for any reason the performance is cancelled. In this case the whole amount, including the booking fee will be refunded by the same method which you made the purchase.

3.3    You must not resell or offer for resale any tickets (whether at a premium or otherwise) or use tickets for advertising or promotions or for any other trade purpose. If you resell or offer resale tickets, then they will be invalid.

3.4    We charge a 50p booking fee per ticket for all bookings made via our website. This booking fee will be capped at £2.00. 

3.5    You must show your Booking Reference in order to collect your tickets.

3.6    It is your responsibility to check your tickets as we are under no obligation to rectify mistakes after purchase of tickets online or at the ticket office. We are not obliged to replace lost or stolen tickets.

3.7    If you fail to attend a performance for whatever reason you will not be entitled to a refund.



4. Online Ticket Purchases

4.1    The following applies to the purchase of tickets through our website:
 
    4.1.1    Cinema tickets are sold by Leisure Cinemas at standard prices for the relevant performance. By requesting tickets through our website, a booking request for tickets is placed with us on these Terms which is only deemed accepted by and binding on Leisure Cinemas once a valid payment has been processed and a confirmatory email is sent.

    4.1.2    The confirmatory email in 4.1.1 will set out the details of the cinema tickets purchased and the total amount paid, including the unique booking reference number (“Booking Reference Number”).  Once this confirmatory email has been sent, the ticket price (and any booking fee paid) is non-refundable. 

    4.1.3    Leisure Cinemas is not responsible in the event that the wrong film or showing is selected when booking tickets via the website or if any of the ticketholders are excluded from viewing the film for any of the reasons stated in these Terms.

    4.1.4    Where tickets are to be collected at the cinema, collection must be done no later than 10 minutes following the start of the performance. After this time, we may release such tickets for general sale.

    4.1.5    We may ask for the Booking Reference Number or the debit/credit/charge card used to make the booking to be presented in order to collect the relevant tickets at the cinema.

    4.1.6    Where e-ticketing is available, e-tickets (containing a QR code) attached to the confirmatory email (“e-ticket”) can be used as the cinema ticket. E-tickets can be presented on a mobile phone or on a print out at the relevant auditorium entry point for scanning  by a staff member in order to gain entry, and in the case of a group booking, the holder’s group. If retail items have been ordered as part of the individual or group booking, the e-ticket holder must go to the concession stand first to collect the retail items.

    4.1.7    If an e-ticket is used to admit a group, all members of the group, including the e-ticket holder, must be admitted into the performance together and the e-ticket holder must be able to provide proof of ticket purchase for all members by showing the relevant e-ticket at all times during the group’s visit (including during a performance) if requested by Leisure Cinemas staff.

    4.1.8    To make any payment online the following details need to be provided:  name,  email address, the card number, name on card, the card security code and the card expiry date.

    4.1.9    Subject to certain exemptions, we charge a 50p booking fee per ticket for all bookings made online. This booking fee will be capped at £2.00.




5. Changes to Performances


5.1     We will always try to ensure that performances take place in accordance with the advertised programme. However, we reserve the right to cancel a performance, vary the time of an exhibition or substitute an alternative film if this becomes necessary because of circumstances beyond our control. If this happens we will, at our discretion, refund the cost of the ticket or issue another ticket for the same film on an alternative occasion.


5.2     Price and availability information is subject to change without notice.



6. Please do not spoil the enjoyment of others

6.1     Please ensure that mobile phones and pagers are set not to ring during performances. Anyone disturbing the performance through the use of mobiles or other similar devices may be asked to leave the auditorium by Leisure Cinema Staff.

6.2    We reserve the right to delay or refuse the admittance of latecomers.



7.    Cooling Off Rights and Refunds

7.1     For online ticket and food and drink purchases, there is no statutory cooling off right



8. Complaints


8.1    Leisure Cinemas takes all feedback very seriously and aims to deal with complaints as quickly and effectively possible. If you wish to provide any feedback or make a complaint, please contact us by email at info@leisurecinemas.com.



9    Changes

9.1    These Terms are the terms and conditions currently in force. You can review the latest version at any time at this page.

9.2    We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms by posting updates and changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check our website periodically for changes.



10    Laws and Jurisdiction


10.1 These Terms are governed by Gibraltar law and you agree that the Courts of Gibraltar shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them.
